Eddie had a 911 situation in his front yard.
He was out mowing his lawn and his kids were outside. One of his 60-year-old neighbors stopped by who he doesn't normally see and decided to play with Eddie's kids. While he was on his lawn mower, one of the kids ran over and told them that the neighbor had fallen. When Eddie looked up, he saw the guy down and blood everywhere. Eddie started to run over and yelled at his wife to call 911.
This was particularly difficult for Eddie as it's how his own father died last year, from an accidental fall and he knew 911 getting there quick mattered. Eddie ran over and tried to keep the guy talking as well as making sure he doesn't lay down so he doesn't try to go to sleep. Eddie was talking to him asking if he knew where he was in hopes to keep him awake. Thankfully, the ambulance and fire department rolled up in roughly 2 minutes. Eddie has never been in a situation like that before so he was really nervous.
The good news is his family just got word yesterday that the neighbor is doing ok. Eddie hasn't seen him, but the neighbor's sister shared he is home and recovering now. Amy thinks Eddie's quick thinking is a huge part of the reason why the guy is doing ok. Bobby added that this is the show's greatest 911 moment yet. Eddie admitted he did wait to hear that the neighbor was doing ok before sharing because he didn't want there to be bad news.
