Eddie's 11-year-old son really wants to join band at school and he's not thrilled.
The dilemma Eddie is having is that his son is an athlete, he plays basketball and football. He really wants his son to focus on basketball because he's a star. Eddie thinks he should continue focusing on team sports rather than joining the marching band. He's all for his son being an athlete or even a rockstar, but marching band just isn't cool.
Lunchbox agrees he thinks marching band is a bad look, but Bobby disagrees because his son can learn to read music through marching band. There are some valuable skills that can come out of marching band so he doesn't understand why Eddie is against it.
Despite some of the show members input, Eddie still doesn't want his son to do band. He doesn't think his son should take time away from practice and playing games.
