Parker McCollum has a star-studded list of potential collaboration partners that he hopes to cross off his bucket list someday. The “Burn It Down” powerhouse shared that he’s hopeful for a song with legendary King of Country George Strait, particularly after making his admiration for the country legend and fellow Texas-born artist known.

In addition to Strait, McCollum has a few other superstar country artists he aims to work with someday, including Tim McGraw and Dolly Parton, even if “that’s never going to happen,” he said.

“You know, I mean I hope that at some point in time in my life I get to do a song with George (Strait). That would really something,” McCollum said, per his record label. “I’d love to do a song with Tim McGraw or Kenny Chesney. I’d love to do a song with (Jason) Aldean. Dolly (Parton). That’s never going to happen. But if I was writing names to throw in a hat and draw them, I’d put hers on there.”

After kicking off 2024 in the all-star New Year’s Eve Bash lineup in Nashville, Tennessee, McCollum is gearing up for his headlining “Burn It Down Tour.” He’s set to kick it off on January 18 in Spokane, Washington. the tour — including special guests Corey Kent, Larry Fleet, George Birge and Catie Offerman — spans through late August, ending in Corpus Christi, Texas.
