Coyote and the Counting Game @ San Juan College

San Juan College

Creede Repertory Theatre’s 41st Annual Young Audience Outreach Tour presents Coyote and the Counting Game on Tuesday, September 24, at 9 a.m. at the San Juan College (SJC) Henderson Fine Arts Center.

Coyote and the Counting Game follows the life of Gaby, who’s having a rough year. She’s failing 3rd-grade math, her genius brother is about to go off to college, and her parents won’t buy her the drum set of her dreams. But when a crafty Coyote comes into her life, she discovers she might be able to trick her way out of her troubles.

Coyote and the Counting Game, written and lyricized by Diana Grisanti and featuring music by Emiliano Messiez, is a modern-day trickster tale, full of fractions, word problems, and good old-fashioned sibling rivalry. The performance is appropriate for grades K through 6 and school groups are encouraged to attend. Admission is free for all students and $2 for adults.
