Trace Adkins Takes Aim + Reveals Spoiler Ahead Of 'Apache Junction' Movie

Trace Adkins has guns blazing as he rides back to the silver screen in a new Western film, 'Apache Junction.'

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the longtime country music entertainer revealed that while he is no stranger to being on screen, this role is a first for him.

"I pull a gun in this movie, but I don't actually shoot anybody," says Trace. "Which I think that may be a first for me in a Western. I have shot people in every one, I think."

"I didn't get killed in this one either, which is unusual," laughs the country singing gunslinger. "I have been getting killed in every movie I do for the last couple of years, but they didn't kill me in this one."

Trace will be seen walking tall in 'Apache Junction,' which has become home for criminals, thieves, and murderers.

This shoot 'em up style film follows the story of Annabelle (Scout Taylor-Compton), a big-city reporter, on a mission to write about the villain-filled town of 'Apache Junction' and ultimately finds herself as a target of lawlessness. Now she is forced to trust a deadly man with a questionable past in a thrilling showdown.

Watch the trailer below and prepare yourself for 'Apache Junction' available in theaters, as well as digitally and on-demand on Sept. 24.
