105-Year-Old beats Covid-19 eats gin soaked golden raisins daily

Lucia DeClerck is an amazing woman! At 105, she is has survived the Spanish flu, two world wars, and has out lived through three husbands!

She told the New York Times her secret is “Prayer. Prayer. Prayer, one step at a time and no junk food.”

CBS Philly says she was diagnosed with the coronavirus on her 105th birthday at Mystic Meadows Rehab and Nursing Center in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey where she lives.

She she told the New York times that her surviving the coronavirus may have had something to do with her life long ritual of eating nine gin-soaked golden raisins a day!

“Fill a jar,” she explained. “Nine raisins a day after it sits for nine days.”

Pretty simple: a jar, gin, and golden raisins. Fill the jar with golden raisins, top it up with gin, then let them sit and soak for nine days,
