Jason Aldean was born on February 28, 1977, and the Macon, Georgia native went on to become one of the biggest country stars today.
Aldean is known for rocking everything from powerful ballads to high-energy anthems, sometimes blending elements of other genres while remaining true to his country core. The award-winning artist recently confirmed on his social media channels that he’s hard at work on his 11th studio album, sharing several behind-the-scenes photos from the recording studio. Aldean — who’s set to kick off the “Highway Desperado Tour” this summer — said he “cut 9 songs in 2 days,” and later added that he believes new music should arrive “this year.”
Whatever Aldean is working on will follow his massive 30-track double album, named as a nod to his hometown. The first installment, Macon, dropped in late 2021, and Georgia followed in April 2022. Together, the project included “That’s What Tequila Does,” “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood, “Trouble With A Heartbreak,” “Rock And Roll Cowboy,” live renditions of some of his biggest songs throughout his decades-long career, and more.
