Carly Pearce Shares First Song She Wrote About Her Husband Michael Ray

Carly Pearce has released the first song she wrote about her now husband, Michael Ray. The track, "Heart's Going Out Of Its Mind" finds Pearce singing about the feelings she quickly developed for Ray after their first date.

"I remember going into write a few days after my first date with @michaelraymusic. I felt high, I felt out of body & definitely out of my mind-- but somehow, I just knew," Pearce explains on Instagram. "I'm so happy to bring y'all the very first song I wrote about my now HUSBAND. This song marks the beginning of my forever."

"Boy whatever you're selling I'm buying it / I'm losing it a little but I'm liking it / There's something in the air tonight / My heart's going out of its mind / Boy whatever you're doing keep doing it / My lipstick baby you can ruin it / If I look a little crazy, that's fine / My heart's going out of its mind," she sings in the chorus.

"Heart's Going Out Of Its Mind" follows up the release of her new song, "Call Me," and the heartfelt ballad, "It Won't Always Be Like This." All three of these tracks will be featured on her upcoming new album along with her recent duet with Lee Brice, "I Hope You're Happy Now."

Pearce's new album, Carly Pearce, is due out on February 14. The record will include a total of 13 songs, including a special duet with Ray called "Finish Your Sentences." Other popular country artists like Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett and more are writers on the project.

This summer, Pearce will join Old Dominion on select dates for their "We Are Old Dominion Tour." The run will kick off May 5 in Key West, Florida, hitting 13 cities from coast to coast including Charleston, South Carolina, Berkeley, California, Stateline, Nevada and more.
