Brooklyn Startup Stops Offering "Young Blood" Infusions After FDA Warning

A Brooklyn startup has stopped offering "young blood" infusions after a warning by the FDA. Ambrosia Health was charging $8,000 to pump plasma from 16 to 25-year-olds into people over 35. The company claims "young blood" can help reverse aging, prevent memory loss and lower cholesterol. But, the FDA says there's no evidence to support that and warns that the procedure can cause infections, allergies and cardiovascular and respiratory side effects.
